On 28th October 2024, IPEM Ghaziabad hosted a highly informative workshop exclusively for faculty members, titled “Peer Enrichment Series: Mastering the Art of Manuscript Drafting”. Led by Ms. Anita Singh, Computer Application Department, this session provided essential guidance on publishing impactful research.

 Key Highlights:

• Targeting the Right Journals: Faculty learned how to select journals aligned with their research scope and impact, improving chances of acceptance by focusing on suitable outlets.
• Avoiding Common Rejection Reasons: Ms. Anita highlighted key rejection factors, emphasizing clarity, originality, and adherence to guidelines—three critical elements for successful submissions.
• Advanced Drafting Techniques: The workshop covered effective strategies for building structured arguments and creating a coherent flow, enabling participants to communicate their findings with precision and impact.
• Enhancing Credibility with Citations: Proper citation and referencing techniques were discussed, focusing on accuracy and thoroughness to strengthen the manuscript’s credibility and scholarly value.

Engaging Participation and Positive Feedback

• The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from 38 faculty members across various departments. To reinforce the learning outcomes, an assignment was given to participants, encouraging them to apply the concepts covered during the session.
• The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with faculty members appreciating the practical insights and actionable strategies shared during the workshop.
