Best Practice – 1

Title of the Practice: “ Faculty Welfare and Enrichment ”

To attract and retain highly qualified, experienced and committed faculty. In order to make the best use of the practice a team of two renowned Key Resource Persons (KRP) was constituted. The main activities of this team include conducting Faculty Development Programs (FDP) to enhance the knowledge of the faculty. The team would further organize academic-industry relation programs where well reputed industry personalities would share their rich practical domain oriented experience with faculty members of the institution.

As well all know that faculties play a major role in providing quality education in any educational institutes. “Right person at right job” should be adopted. Further continuous enrichment of faculty members play a major role in any educational institute. Further these faculties who are the basic pillars will have to be retained. In order to achieve these goals, the institution has adopted the following strategies.

  • The institute encourages all the faculty members to complete their Ph.D by giving relaxation in the workload and providing the other support.
  • Faculties are encouraged to attend faculty development programs, conferences, workshops & seminars and write quality research papers.
  • Financial support and incentives are provided to the faculty for attaining higher education or academic enrichments.
  1. The number of faculties registering, pursuing and completing Ph.D is on the rise.
  2. Quality technical papers are being published in UGC Care as well as in Scopus Indexed Journals.
  3. Our faculty members have been awarded by various organizations for their excellence in research and.
  • The institute needs to work on enhancing research resources and facilities to all the faculty members.
  • The institute needs to organize more workshops & conferences based on latest trends in collaboration with the international research organisation.

Best Practice – 2

Title of the Practice: “Institute Social Contribution and Students Participation”

  • To develop Ethical and Moral Values among the youth.
  • To create social awareness and inculcate social responsibility.
  • To develop Empathy in the youth.

IPEM believes that our role as an educational institution is to provide social awareness as well as cultivate humanity, imparting of knowledge and skills to our students.

IPEM is committed to its social responsibilities towards society, therefore in collaboration with UBA and the rotary club, several social contributions activities have been undertaken and carried out in rural areas. IPEM conducted Nukkad Natak to aware people of the various health and hygiene issues, free eye checks camp and a blood donations camp were conducted to improve the well-being of the rural areas people in collaboration with the rotary club. Apart from social responsibility, institutes believe that students should also be aware of their role and responsibilities toward society, hence they were also made part of all these activities to impart knowledge and skills to our students to ensure nourished humanity among them.

  • Received positive feedback on eye check-up camp.
  • Invited by other nearby villages to conduct camps related to health and hygiene.
  • Invited by UBA to share feedback with other institutions on the activities carried out.

Hesitation and unawareness of rural areas women and men to participate and share their health and hygiene-related problems.
