Objective

To create awareness regarding E-Waste management& educate the students about harmful chemical present in E-Waste.

Description

Sewa Cell of the Institute of Professional Excellence and Management, Ghaziabad, organized a workshop associated with the Environment Club & National Service Scheme on “Awareness on E-Waste: Challenges and the Way Forward” on February 14, 2025. The event commenced with the felicitation of the esteemed resource person, Mr. R.B. Srivastava, a sustainability & climate change consultant. During the session, Mr. Srivastava provided insights into different categories of e-waste, including plastic waste, medical waste, and printed circuit boards, while highlighting their impact on various body parts. He also explained practical strategies for reducing, recycling, and reusing e-waste to promote sustainability.
