Description

Centre for teacher Education, IPEM Successfully organized three days Induction Programme “Abhinandan 2025” for D.El.Ed.(first year) (Session 2024-26). The Objective of the Programme aimed to familiarize new entrants of D.El.Ed. with the Institute’s Culture, Curriculum, & resources to ease their transition in the D.El.Ed. Programme.

The first day of the program commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony before Goddess Saraswati, performed by Executive Director Dr. Sugandha Goel, Director Geeti Sharma, Dean of Academics Dr. Shashank Chaudhary, Principal Dr. Nishi Sharma, Dr. Sakshi Mariani from Lovely Professional University, and Ms. Priya Agarwal (Special Educator from Vaani Special Education Centre).

Dr. Geeti Sharma extended her best wishes to the students for a bright future. On this occasion, Dr. SakshiVermani Rishi delivered a special lecture on Innovations in Education, while Ms. Priya Agarwal (Special Educator and 2014-15 alumna) explained Jean Piaget’s Theory of Child Development effectively in her session.

On the second day of the orientation, faculty members introduced students to the D.El.Ed. curriculum, school regulations, and library rules.

The third day witnessed the much-awaited Fresher’s Party, where the new students were warmly welcomed. The highlights of the event included a ramp walk and a talent show.The event was packed with fun performances, exciting games, a talent show, a stylish ramp walk, and a lively Q&A round. Everyone had a blast, and some well-deserved prizes were handed out! Ms. Kartika Dhama was ‘Ms. Fresher’, and Mr. Divyanshu Kumar Vrun, was our ‘Mr. Fresher’ of the event. Ms. Tanisha was awarded for her ‘Best Attire’. It was a day full of laughter, energy, and unforgettable memories!

All the students enthusiastically participated in the event, celebrating the occasion with joy and excitement. The program was attended by all faculty members of the department.
