Objective

Description
The Institute of Professional Excellence & Management (IPEM) in Ghaziabad organized a “Swachhata Pakhwada” under the National Service Scheme (NSS). During this two-week event, various cleanliness activities were conducted across different locations.
- A Swachhata Rally was held in Ispat Nagar.
- An oath ceremony and cleanliness awareness session took place at a primary school in Vijay Nagar.
- Volunteers collected single-use plastic at Vijay Nagar as part of a “Kabad Se Jugad” initiative on the college campus.
- A Swachhata Marathon was organized along National Highway 9 (NH-9).
- Volunteers conducted door-to-door cleanliness awareness in Ambedkar Nagar.
- A seminar on the importance of cleanliness was held on the college campus.
- Nukkad Nataks (street plays) on cleanliness awareness were performed at the Railway Junction and Bus Stand in Ghaziabad.
On September 20, 2024, Mr. Naresh Kumar, a local representative, was invited as the chief guest. He motivated the volunteers, blessed the campaign, and actively participated by collecting single-use plastic with the students.
A total of 100 students participated in the event, contributing significantly to raising awareness about cleanliness and environmental sustainability.
