Surajkund International Craft Mela 2023
B.Ed.1st year students visited The Surajkund Mela 2023 which has started from 3rd February to 19th February. The Mela was open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Surajkund Mela attracts over a million tourists from India and throughout the world. The Surajkund Mala attracts over a million tourists from India and throughout the world. This year’s theme state is the North Eastern area and the partner country is the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. This time eight states of India-Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Sikkim, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura have been made the theme states. This Mela gives the artisans a platform to network and display their livelihood’s hard work. In a world where technology has taken over almost all aspects of our lives, this Mela can help people dive into the world of hand-woven art. B.Ed.1st year students enjoyed the Mela and were introduced to the Unique diversity of different traditions and cultures.
