Description
A Soft Skills Training Programme for B.COM NEP and B.Ed 1st year students has been organized successfully in collaboration with GTT (CSR partner of Barclays). The training was conducted in a very informal, interesting, and interactive manner, which gives ample scope for the students to interact with each other. Overall, the programme highlighted the importance of soft skills in personal and professional success and provides valuable insights into how to develop these skills. On 1st Day the session was taken on Skill development by motivational speaker Dr. Ankur Aggarwal from Barclays. He emphasized on the importance of public speaking and motivated the students for the same. He conducted various short activities. He interacted with the students and answered the queries of the student. During the session it was found that students were unable to present themselves in an interview On 2nd Day the session was taken on Group discussion resume writing and Debate Competition. The topic of GD was role of Artificial Intelligence in education. They also informed about different do’s & don’ts in resume construction. A demo of online resume building was also provided by the expert to help students to clear their doubts and at the end an assignment was handed by Expert.
