Poster Presentation Competition on Innovative Ideas along with Session by Faculty Innovation Ambassadors for Mentorship Support

Objective

The primary objective of the Business Plan Poster Presentation Competition for students is to cultivate entrepreneurial skills by providing a platform for students to develop innovative business ideas. It enhances practical application of academic knowledge, fostering collaboration among diverse academic backgrounds. Students engage in critical thinking, innovation, and develop presentation skills while presenting their business plans.  The mentorship session before the competition helped students in developing a deep and enhanced understanding of innovation and creativity and the big roles they play in the business setups. The competition also facilitates networking opportunities with industry experts and recognizes outstanding achievements. Overall, it serves as a catalyst for students to explore their entrepreneurial potential, apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, and develop essential skills for future career success.

Description

Institute of Professional Excellence and Management, Ghaziabad, Management Department Organized a Poster Presentation Competition on Innovative Ideas along with Session by Faculty Innovation Ambassadors for Mentorship Support on 28^th August 2024 from 2.00 pm onwards. The mentorship support session was taken by Ms. Teena Chaudhary, Assistant Professor IPEM and Innovation Ambassador followed by Dr. Mona Sahay, Professor, IPEM and Innovation Ambassador where they explained about the basics of innovation and creativity. This was followed by poster presentation competition on innovative ideas. The Poster Presentation Competition for students entails teams of 2-3 students creating posters on A3 size sheets. Each team presents their plan within a 5-minute time limit, focusing on technical, financial, marketing, and social aspects. Total 16 teams (40) students from different disciplines. participated in the activity. Students participated enthusiastically and showed much motivation to present the posters.

2^nd Position: Shriyansh & kajal

3^rd Position: Priyanshi & Varun & Farhan (Tie Position).
