The Centre for Teacher Education IPEM organized a guest lecture on the topic of National Education Policy 2020: Online and Digital Education. The guest speaker was Mr. Balram Singh, HOD of the B.Ed department (Km. Mayawati Govt Girls PG College G.B. Nagar). The  Guest lecture activity total of 205 students from the CTE department. The purpose of the guest lecture event was the students understood the importance of online and digital education in NEP 2020.

1. The student will be able to understand online education.
2. The student will be able to understand the role of online & digital education in NEP 2020.
3. The student will be able to practically apply the NEP 2020 in the classroom.

Planning & Execution:
Mrs. Veenus Tyagi was assigned the responsibility to conduct the Guest Lecture. The Proposal was forwarded to the Management to get it approved. It was accepted on 5th May  2021. Thereafter, Mr. Balram Singh (Visiting Faculty, Km Mayawati Govt Girls PG College, Badalpur, G B Nagar.) was approached to conduct the session. He was convinced and sent the course schedule. The Plan of Action was prepared. The work on Guest Lecture was started.
Assignment: No assignment is given by the Expert.
Internet Connectivity: To ensure the best internet speed, the meetings were held through WiFi connectivity.
In the Guest lecture, Mr. Balram Singh told about the National Education Policy 2020 online & digital education. The session was extremely motivated for Students.
The session is closed with a vote of thanks by Dr. Nishi Sharma(Principal).

OUTCOMES & OBJECTIVES ACHIEVED

• The student understood to come to know about the lecture skills.
• The student understood the importance of Online & Digital Education in National Education Policy 2020 NEP 2020.
• The student comes to know about the application of NEP 2020.

OBSERVATIONS & SHORTCOMINGS

• It was observed that while conducting any online activity by Internet connectivity.
• The shortcoming of this Guest Lecture is that some of the students do not able to join lectures due to a lack of Connection.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUTURE IMPROVEMENTS
A workshop is scheduled for Guest Lecture Speaking Skills in Future and Assignment must be given to students.
