My Icon My Inspiration
IPEM Communication Club has organized “My Icon My Inspiration”, on 14th June 2021 (Monday) from 2:00 pm onwards on Zoom Platform. The purpose of this activity was to motivate the students. Inspiration awakens students to new possibilities by allowing them to transcend their ordinary experiences and limitations. Inspiration propels a person from apathy to possibility and transforms the way we perceive our own capabilities. Judges for the activity were: Ms. Shraddha Shukla & Ms. Supriya Kaushik Judgment was done on the basis of Project, Pronounce, Pace, Pitch, and Pause.
In this activity, students made the PPT Presentation of their Icon depicting the qualities, achievements, and inspiring stories/quotes of their Icon along with the learning traits he/she adapt and inspired about the same. Three Minutes have been allotted to the participants for their presentation; the mode of speaking was English & Hindi. Famous Icons to name a few were from various fields (like Sports, Politics, Celebrities, Scientists, Academicians, Comedians, Artist, Dancer, Philosopher, etc)which was chosen by the students. For Ex:- Abdul Kalam, Ms.Dhoni, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Ratan Tata, Sushmita Sen & so on. 1st Position was grabbed by Megha from B.ED 1st Year, Charu Saxena from B.Com 1st Year & Sakshi Goswami from BBA 6th Sem held the 2nd and 3rd position respectively where the mode of speaking was English. Whereas from the Hindi (mode of speaking) 1st position, Abhishek Singh from BCA 2nd Year & Nivedita from BCA 2nd Year held the 2nd position respectively.
