Objective

• Micro – Teaching focuses on specific teaching behaviours and provides practice under controlled conditions.
• It helps modify the behaviour of both the teacher and the student, improving the teaching-learning process.
• It prepares teachers for real-time classes and increases their knowledge, skills, and capabilities.
• Immediate feedback is given to teachers, enabling further improvements in their performance.
• It poses no risk to students if the teacher fails to perform well, making it a safe testing ground.

Description

Under the guidance of Dr. Nishi Sharma, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma conducted Micro Teaching for 142 students, which was approved by the Management. On March 9, 2023, Dr. Manoj Chauhan and Rajesh Kumar Sharma explained the meaning, characteristics, and importance of micro-teaching, along with 8 important skills. Starting from March 10, 2023, subject teachers explained the 8 skills in different classes, and students taught lesson plans for each skill in class.

The students achieved both overall and behavioural objectives in their lesson plans, selecting appropriate methods, techniques, and activities, and preparing relevant teaching materials. They also successfully linked the current topic to previous and future classes and effectively carried out their prepared plans in the classroom
