Description

• This job fair was meant for all the graduates and postgraduates students of the Computer Application department of IPEM, Ghaziabad along with students of other Institutions as per point 7 above. The response of the students was overwhelming as total 210 students registered online against 8 organizations (Figure 5) for participation in the Job Fair. A total of 124 students from 15 Institutions as per point 7 above including IPEM participated in the IT Job Fair. Based on the inputs received from the employer the successful candidates were informed about the outcome. IPEM, Ghaziabad acted as a coordinator between the students & the companies. The companies were thanked electronically for their participation in the event. The companies were invited for the event in a very professional manner as per Invitation letter To provide a Learning platform for the students about new options and about new skills that can help get a new job.
• To demonstrate effective preparedness for the fair that includes research, proper attire and how to present themselves as strong candidates to employers.
• To discover a wide range of career paths available by job function, sector, employer and/or industry.
• To deliver a succinct statement to introduce themselves and effectively sell their professional brand.
