The objective of a college industrial visit to SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) is to provide students with practical exposure to the regulatory framework governing India’s securities markets. On December 6, 2024, IPEM College organized an enriching industrial visit to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) office in Delhi. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into the functioning of India’s capital markets and SEBI’s critical role as the regulatory authority. Ms. Simran Kaur, the resource person, delivered an engaging presentation on SEBI’s objectives, structure, and operations, highlighting its efforts in ensuring market transparency and protecting investor interests. The session was followed by an interactive Q&A, where Ms. Kaur addressed students’ queries with exceptional clarity and depth. This valuable learning experience inspired students to explore careers in financial markets and regulatory sectors, broadening their professional horizons.
