Five Days Workshop on Construction of Teaching Aids
A workshop on the construction of teaching aids likely serves several purposes like; It helps pupil-teachers to improve their ability to construct effective teaching aids that cater to different learning styles and objectives. Workshop introduces pupil-teachers to new teaching methodologies and innovative approaches to instruction, fostering creativity and experimentation in the classroom. By learning how to construct engaging teaching aids, pupil-teachers can better capture students’ interest and motivation, leading to improved learning outcomes. Workshops provide opportunities for pupil-teachers to collaborate, share ideas, and learn from each other’s experiences, fostering a supportive professional community. Overall, the workshop on the construction of teaching aids aims to empower pupil-teachers with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to create meaningful and impactful learning experiences for their students.
Centre for Teacher Education successfully organized “Five Days Workshop on Construction of Teaching Aids” from 8th-13th April, 2024. On first and second day (8th& 9th April, 2024) the resource persons Dr. Nishi Sharma, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma and Mr. Mohit Bharti firstly shared and demonstrated the ideas of Teaching aids on different topics of their respective pedagogy subjects; Pedagogy of English, Pedagogy of Physical Science, Pedagogy of Hindi and Pedagogy of Commerceand then students prepared their own teaching aids on different topics either individual or in group. On third and fourth day (11th& 12th April, 2024) the resource persons Dr. Jaymala Singh, Dr. Shweta Tyagi and Ms. Viditi Rastogi firstly shared and demonstrated the ideas of Teaching aids on different topics of their respective pedagogy subjects; Pedagogy of Social Sciences, Pedagogy of Biological Sciences and Pedagogy of Mathematics and then students prepared their own teaching aids on different topics either individual or in group. On last day (13th April, 2024), the students displayed their Teaching Aids. This Workshop offered pupil-teachers a chance to reflect on their teaching practice, identify areas for improvement, and refine their instructional strategies.
