Title: Five Days Workshop on Construction of Lesson Plan with Constructive Approach
Purposes and Objectives:
The main objectives of this five days’ workshop are:
- To enable the students to understand the concept of constructive approach.
- To demonstrate the 5 E’s model and use of the 5 E’s in lesson planning.
- To provide the opportunity to the pupil Teachers to develop lesson plans with a constructive approach.

Category and Number of Participants: This workshop was organized for all the Students of B. Ed. II year (2022-24) batch to construct lesson plans with a constructive approach.
Number of Participants – Approx 80students participated in the workshop
First day of Workshop
On the 16th September 2023 (Saturday) at 10:00 am the workshop was started with an address by Dr. Nishi Sharma (Principal, CTE) She gave a brief introduction of B. Ed. II year lesson planning and its importance for pupil Teachers in future. After that programme proceeded with the overall introduction of the Constructive approach and its theoretical and practical aspects by Dr. Manoj Chauhan expert of the 1st day workshop. She also gave detailed Presentations related to the 5 E’s model of lesson planning in a very elaborate manner and explained to pupil Teachers all 5 E’s like Engage, Explore, Explain Elaborate and Evaluation one by one with their activities, techniques and implementation.
The second day of Workshop
On 18th September ,2023 (Monday) day two workshop started with subjects related to Pedagogy -1 in separate rooms for lesson planning as mentioned in the program schedule. Pedagogy of English Expert Dr. Nishi Sharma (Principal) presented a demo lesson plan to pupil teachers of English pedagogy for their better understanding and explained the implementation of Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluation in Teaching of English lesson planning with examples. In the continuation, Dr. Rajesh Sharma presented a demo of Pedagogy of Physical Science and explained to pupil Teachers how to use the constructive approach & 5 Es in teaching of Physical Science. Mr. Pradeep Sharma presented a Pedagogy of Hindi demo lesson for Pedagogy of Hindi Prose, Poetry and Grammer teaching based on the Constructive approach. For Pedagogy of Commerce Mr. Mohit Bharti handled the queries related to commerce teaching he also presented a demo lesson plan based on 5E’s model of constructive approach lesson planning.
Third day of Workshop
Day three Workshop on 19th Sep,2023, (Tuesday) started with Pedagogy of Method -2 as per program schedule. Dr. Shweta Tyagi presented a demo lesson plan for Pedagogy of Biological Science and gave live examples to pupil teachers for the use of E’s in the lesson plan of Biological Science teaching. MS. Viditi Rastogi also explained a demo lesson plan for pedagogy of Mathematical students and prepared them to develop lesson plans with a constructive approach. In the continuation, Dr. Neeta Garg presented a Pedagogy of Social Science demonstration for Social Science Teaching students and motivated them to construct a lesson plan for social science teaching with a constructive approach.
Fourth day of Workshop
On 20th September ,2023 (Wednesday) the fourth day of workshop all pupil teachers of (Method -1) of pedagogy of Physical Science, pedagogy of English, pedagogy of Hind & pedagogy of Commerce constructed the lesson plans based on a constructive approach with the implementation of 5 E’s and submitted to the concerned faculty (subject wise) for checking & suggestions.
Fifth day of Workshop
Day 5th ,21st September,2023(Thursday) workshop started with the Construction of lesson plans by Pupil teachers of Pedagogy methods -2., The subjects are pedagogy of Biological Science, Pedagogy of Social Science and pedagogy of Mathematics. Pupil teachers develop the lesson plans subject-wise in separate rooms under the supervision of concerned faculty members and submit them for checking.
