Digital and Financial Literacy Camp in Accheja Village, Greater Noida

Objective

To create awareness regarding digital and financial literacy among village people.

Description

UBA (Sewa Cell), in association with the Institute Innovation Council (IIC), has organised a digital and financial literacy camp at Accheja Village, Greater Noida, for village people on March 6, 2024 (Monday). Around 50 rural people participated in this camp. During this camp, people were aware of digital and financial literacy, as knowing about financial literacy is a crucial skill for navigating today’s world. Digital literacy involves the ability to use technology effectively, including understanding online safety, using software applications, and leveraging the internet for information and communication. Financial literacy encompasses managing personal finances, budgeting, saving, investing, and understanding credit and debt.

During this camp we covered the following topics such as:-

• utilize digital tools confidently and make informed financial decisions
• SIP, Mutual Fund, FD, Government Securities and other tools of investment
• Online Banking
• Digital Fraud
