A Joint Rally On Drugs-Free India
Awareness Of People’s Dangers Of Drug Abuse For Village Community
On February 21, 2025, Sewa Cell took a commendable step toward social welfare by organizing a rally for a drug-free India in Dhoom Manikpur Village. The initiative aimed to educate the local community about the dangers of drug addiction and encourage a healthier, substance-free lifestyle.
The rally was graced by the presence of Mr. Pawan Rawal, former Pradhan and BJP District Vice President, who extended his support to this noble cause. His presence motivated both IPEM students and villagers to take a strong stand against drug abuse. A total of 29 students from BBA and B.Com (Hons) 1st Year actively participated in the event. With banners in hand and slogans echoing through the village streets, they passionately spread the message of awareness and responsibility.
The rally created a significant impact on the community, helping villagers recognize the harmful effects of drugs on physical health, mental well-being, and overall societal harmony. Many villagers pledged to advocate for a drug-free environment and educate others about the consequences of substance abuse.
Additionally, the event provided students with a meaningful learning experience, allowing them to step beyond textbooks and contribute to a real-world social cause. Engaging in discussions with community members deepened their understanding of the issue while reinforcing their sense of social responsibility and leadership. The experience instilled a sense of purpose, encouraging them to continue working for societal betterment.
Sewa Cell’s initiative successfully planted the seeds of awareness and responsibility, inspiring collective action against drug abuse. The rally was not just a one-time event but a catalyst for ongoing conversations and efforts to create a healthier, addiction-free community.
By fostering awareness, encouraging pledges, and involving youth in such initiatives, the event marked a significant step toward a drug-free India. With sustained efforts and community participation, a brighter, healthier future is within reach.
