Objective

The objective of Safer Internet Day activities is to raise awareness about the importance of online safety, promote responsible internet use, and encourage the development of safe digital spaces for individuals.

The day aims to highlight the positive and safe use of technology while addressing potential risks such as cyber bullying, online privacy concerns, digital footprints, and harmful content.

Description

The Computer Application Department, in collaboration with CyberPeace, organized an engaging panel discussion on the theme “Together for a Better Internet.” led by our BCA students, the session focused on raising awareness about the importance of safe and responsible internet use, particularly for children and young people. The discussion highlighted key aspects of online safety, encouraging positive digital behaviour and promoting the need for a safer, more secure online environment for all.
