Crafting Best out of waste
· To create awareness among students about the importance of recycling and environmental conservation.
· To encourage students to creatively reuse waste materials through innovative crafting.
· To promote the practical application of the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
On 28th March, the Environment and Sustainability Club organized an Inter-Institutional Activity titled “Crafting Best Out of Waste” as part of the Annual Art & Craft Festival “Anveshan”. A total of 47 students from various reputed institutions participated enthusiastically, showcasing their innovation by transforming waste into useful and decorative items. The event was judged by esteemed alumni members – Ms. Deepti Mathur, Principal, M.H. Public School, G.B. Nagar, and Ms. Varsha Tiwari, Director of Aamrapali Kidz, Siddharth Vihar – who evaluated the entries based on creativity, originality, usefulness, neatness, and sustainability. The competition concluded with IPEM College securing the First Position, VMLG College as the Runner-Up, and ABES Engineering College as the Second Runner-Up.
An interactive workshop on planting and gardening was also conducted for the participants.
