• To encourage the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual development of students.
• To build confidence, self-esteem, and important life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and education.
• To prepare the youth of the country as responsible citizens and patriots.

Description

The Centre for Teacher Education, IPEM, Ghaziabad, organized a five-day Bharat Scouts and Guides camp from December 16 to December 20, 2024, for B.Ed. second-year students (session 2023-25). The camp was conducted by Shri Shyam Singh Ji, State Trainer, Bharat Scouts and Guides. Subedar Major Rajesh Singh, 13 UP Battalion, Kavi Nagar, Ghaziabad, and Ms. Kanchan Verma, Senior Coordinator, Kanosa Public School, were the Chief Guests of the event.

During the camp, students received training on the rules of Scouts and Guides and participated in various activities, including making different types of knots, constructing pyramids, patrolling, and preparing for flag hoisting. Students also engaged in writing exercises as part of their learning.

The Scout & Guide Camp 2024 at IPEM showcased the institution’s dedication to fostering well-rounded educators capable of meeting future challenges.
