First Response Training Program
The objective of an Accident First Response Training Program is to prepare individuals to effectively manage the initial stages of an emergency. This includes providing basic medical care, assessing the scene for safety, making quick decisions to call for professional help, prioritizing injuries, and communicating clearly with emergency responders and others. Ultimately, the program aims to ensure that participants can respond confidently and competently to improve outcomes and reduce injury severity in emergencies.
On August 27, 2024, IPEM College ghaziabad, in collaboration with the Young Indians (Yi) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) have hosted an essential Accident “First Response Training Program .”This initiative was designed to enhance the skills and preparedness of individuals in managing emergency situations effectively.
The program has covered crucial aspects of first response, including basic first aid, injury assessment, emergency protocols, and quick decision-making. Participants learned how to handle various types of accidents, provided immediate care, and coordinated with emergency services. Session was an interactive session where students were given practical knowledge, and students volunteered to give demo treatment. The resource person for the training program was Mr Ravneet Oberoi YI co chair for road safety & Dr Satish Kumar Ramoju senior clinical Instructor at EMRI 108 services.
