Orientation Programme of B.Ed. IInd year (2023-25)
Objective
The objectives of the programme was to Introducing students to their new courses, incorporating them in the College environment and giving the opportunity to the faculties to get connected to the new batch.
Description
The Centre for Teacher Education organized two days Orientation Program of B.Ed IInd year (Session 2023-25). On first day of Orientation Program, Dr. Geeti Sharma (Director, IPEM) and Dr. Nishi Sharma (Principal, CTE) in their addresses motivated pupil-teachers to develop the traits of a good, interactive and generous teacher so that they can become a remarkable teacher in their students’ mind and hearts. In continuation CTE also organized an Alumni Guest Lecture. Alumni Guest Speaker was Megha Katara (B.Ed. Alumni of Batch 2020-22 & Teacher & Curriculum Leader, The Millennium School Greater Noida). Ms. Megha shared her experiences of her study of B.Ed. course in IPEM and teaching experiences of The Millennium School. On day second the programme proceeded with the overall Course introduction of B. Ed. II year regarding (Theoretical, Practical & Internship aspects) presented by Ms. Viditi Rastogi. In continuation all teachers gave Presentations related to their respective subjects as CC-5 Creating an Inclusive School by Dr. Shweta Tyagi, CC6 Gender School & Society by Dr. Neeta Garg, CC7 Knowledge, Language & Curriculum by Mr. Pradeep Sharma, CC8 Nai Talim by Dr Rajesh Sharma, PC3 Assessment for Learning by Ms. Viditi Rastogi & PC4 Environment Education by Ms. Parul Tyagi. After Syllabus Discussion Training & Placement Coordinator (CTE) Dr. Shweta Tyagi provided some Guidance related to placement to students for better job opportunities. The session was closed with the formal vote of thanks by the coordinator of the event Dr. Shweta Tyagi and Ms. Vidity Rastogi.
