Workshop on ITR and GST Return Filing online

Objective

The objective of this Workshop is to have hands on experience of taxation filing process and portal.

Description

Management Department of IPEM, Ghaziabad has conducted a Workshop on the topic “Filing Income Tax Returns (ITR) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) Returns online” for B.COM (H) students to educate individuals on the processes and intricacies of tax compliance. The Resource person of the Workshop is CA Raghav Maheshwari.

Workshop comprises of two sessions. The first session is related with GST and the second session is related with ITR filing. In the first session students get an insight about the GST, types of GST, types of return like GSTR 1, GSTR 3b, GSTR 4 and their due dates. He has discussed about Debit and credit Notes and the mechanism of filing GST online.

In the second session the students were trained in filing Income Tax return online. He has talked about AIS, Types of ITR, Due Dates and Form 16, types of ITR and advance tax and also how to file various types of taxes.

Attending workshops like these are beneficial, as they provide practical insights, updates on regulatory changes, and guidance on navigating the complexities of tax filing procedures.
