Administration and Interpretation of Psychological test, Introversion Extroversion Inventory
To help in identifying the strengths of students and align them with appropriate goals.
For assessment of personality, a standardized tool “Introversion Extroversion Inventory” of Dr. P.F. Aziz and Dr. Rekha Gupta was administered on 68 B.Ed. students. The tool has 60 items. That was a self-administering inventory and it can be used individually. All Items have to be answered either in the positive or in the negative in YES or NO and statement have to be skipped. After checking the responses of students with the help of given table the score of student have been calculated with the help of given formula as per Manual. The student obtained a plus score when the no of correct responses exceeds that of the incorrect ones. The student got a minus score when the no of incorrect responses exceeds that of the correct ones. If the student score ranges between -15 and + 15 he/she was said to be an ambivert. If the score was above +15, he/she was to be said an extrovert and if the score was below -15, he/she was to be said an introvert On the basis of analysis and interpretation it has been concluded that 35% B.Ed. students are extrovert, 50% students are introvert while 15% students are ambivert.
