Objective
Soft skills are personal attributes that enhance an individual’s ability to interact effectively with others. Here are some key objectives for conducting a soft skills enhancement training program for B.Ed students:
- To develop effective verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely.
- To Introduce basic technological skills and highlight the importance of integrating technology into teaching to enhance student learning.
Description
The Centre for Teacher Education (CTE), IPEM Ghaziabad, under the aegis of IQAC, has collaborated with the Department of Education, VMLG, Ghaziabad for the soft skill enhancement training program of B.Ed 1st year students. This two-week soft skill enhancement training program was conducted as a part of a research project under the Research Development Scheme run by UP Govt. to make B.Ed. students more competent and skilled.
This program was conducted in two phases, In phase 1, a tool
In phase 2, students were taught various soft skills such as technology, communication, and ICT skills. After the training, participants received online certificates.
